Jason Statham move over. Derbyshire has a new all action hero – but, unlike the Parker that Statham played in his 2013 action movie, there is no acting involved here.
This Parker – Zach Parker, is for real.
The 25 year old pugilist was on top form at the Manchester Arena last Saturday as he claimed the World Boxing Organisation Inter-Continental Super Middle Title in dramatic fashion.

Parker came through what was considered by many, his toughest test to date as he dismantled Australia’s Rohan Murdock in 11 rounds live on SKY Sports.
His progress up the boxing ranks won’t come as a huge surprise to some. In 2018 Parker won the British Boxing Board of Control’s ‘Performance of the Year’ Award for his stunning first round KO win over Luke Blackledge. His record now stands at 19-0-0.
“I want a world title shot as soon as possible,” Parker said afterwards. “Obviously I should be the mandatory for the (WBO) title now. I’m ready.”
